Lactose Casein

Today, centrifuges are widely used in milk processing industry. The production of lactose and casein primarily requires continuous operation and a dry cake since the solids are the valuable products. For these reasons, decanters are the most suitable solution since they are able to continuously separate suspensions with a high content of solids and liquids. The liquid phase can be sufficiently clarified and the solids phase is de-watered to the minimum residual moisture content depending on its filtration capability.
