Environment Technology

Citrus Essential Oil
The skin of a Citrus fruit is abundant with essential oil which is the by-product of juice, separated and clarified by a centrifuge.

Pressed Oil Clarification
Many seeds are harvested to produce oil through the pressing of an expeller. However, the oil from that would be cloudy and mixed with lots of solid particles that are considered as mechanical impurities. A centrifuge would be needed to separate and clarify such to get the desired grade of clear and edible oil.

Decanter Centrifuge for Manure

Starch and Gluten
Different raw materials are used for manufacturing starch and gluten. At the same time, manufacturers are particularly concerned with achieving effective and economical processing. Surimi Processing
To isolate the fish proteins from minced fish, the mince is first mixed with conditioned water in a mixing tank. For whitefish, the refined slurry is continuously pumped to the decanter centrifuge for separation of water and fish mince. The dark-fleshed or fatty fish are processed into surimi, a second washing stage may be necessary before decanting. The fish mince is mixed in the washing tank to wash out blood and odor. It is then pumped to the refiner to separate the meat from impurities. The refined slurry is continuously pumped to the decanter centrifuge to separate the mince from the water. The Direct Drive solids control system ensures a moisture content of 80–82%. The mince is now ready for packing after being removed from the decanter centrifuge.

Reducing DAF Skimmings
DAF skimmings are collected in a buffer system and then passed through a continuous steam injection heater to be heated at a temperature suitable for centrifugal separation either by: a single-stage separation using a 3-phase decanter to extract solids, or a fat-and-water phase/two-stage separation requiring a 2-phase decanter for the solids and liquids to split having a high-speed separator extract the fat.

Ethanol, the Renewable Fuel from Nature
Decanter centrifuges customized for whole stillage dewatering applications up to 500-gpm. For corn dry milling plants, expected performance is 80-85% recovery of suspended solids with 32-35% dry cake, depending on the feed temperature and whole stillage concentration.

Tomato Juice
Separation is a key part in producing juice from tomatoes. By removing any mould present, separating the pulp, and clarifying the juice, the manufacturer can control the colour, mould content, and viscosity of the final product. The decanter centrifuge is used for subsequent processing wherein a manufacturer can reduce mould with very little loss of juice.

Recycling of Slurry from wafer sawing processes
The development and supply of solid-liquid separation products and solutions in the recycling of slurry from wafer sawing processes are for the photovoltaic and semiconductor industries.
In addition to the SiC slurry recovery or GaAs slurry recovery, a separator woul also have skills in the processing of slurry from wire saw or from diamond saw.
